FIELD INTO ORCHARD FARM
|
|
 |
You can increase your income from
your rice field by converting in into an orchard.
Ricefield, especially rainfed areas can be converted
into a mango or fruit orchard without disrupting the
planting of palay during the first 6 years from date
of planting the tree. The fruit trees should be
planted in mound 2-3 feet high with 5 to 6 feet
base. This will prevent waterlogged condition on the
root system especially during rainy season.
