| It's always a nice feeling
harvesting your own fruits in your backyard. Just like Dr.
Paula Santos Umali and her husband Telesforo who have been
harvesting their luscious rambutan since a couple of weeks
back in their Quezon City home.
Their trees are of the
selected Maharlika variety which usually bears fruits that
are harvested in early June and followed by a second crop in
September. Some of the trees are in bloom now. |
