Instant Fruit Trees

If one is
a retiree going into the planting of fruit trees, a
practical strategy is to plant trees that will bear fruit in
just a year or two from planting. This can be done by
planting large planting materials such as those produced by
Bernie Dizon. He has rambutan trees that are already
fruiting in big plastic bags. The ones we panted in our farm
late last year, for instance, are already fruiting. The big
durian planting materials (at least five years old in the
nursery grown in big plastic bags) are expected to fruit
next year.
