| FOUR-YEAR-OLD TREE.
Photo shows
an ordinary carabao-mango tree heavily laden
with ripening fruits in the farm of Justice
Romeo T. Capulong. The 'undesirable'
four-year-old tree was top-worked by pomologist
Bernie Dizon last December, grafting it with Chokanan, Guimaras, Talaban and Queen Anne
species. In July-August this year, the trees
produced big and sweet fruits. Most outstanding
performer is the Chokanan species, which is a
fast grower and prolific producer. In photo,
