An agricultural engineer from the King Mongkut
Institute of Technology in Bangkok who also runs a
10-hectare orchard in Chantaburi province in
Thailand has signed an agreement for the exchange of
fruit technology and planting materials with Bernie
Dizon who runs a techno demo fruit farm at the
Central Luzon State University in Muñoz Science
City, Nueva Ecija.
He is Dr. Vinai Klajring of the Department of
Engineering of King Mongkut Institute of Technology
who visited the CLSU-Dizon Techno-demo farm
recently. Dr. Vinai is an alumnus of CLSU, having
obtained his master and doctorate degrees from the
institution several years back. |

Dr. Vinai said that although the techno demo farm
has limited space (1.4 hectares), it is very rich in
technology and plant varieties. He added that more
students should visit the place so they can learn
the latest development and orchard management.
Dr. Vinai said the CLSU is lucky to have such a demo
farm within its campus. However, he suggested, that
a bigger area should be allotted for the project..
